Lincoln City Libraries is offering two parent-child book groups for children and their adult reading partners starting this fall. These groups will meet once a month and will be led by a trained facilitator. Register by calling the library where you would like to participate.
For first through third graders and their reading partners we offer:
- The R.A.P. Around the Year @ Gere group meets at Gere Branch, 2400 S. 56th Street, from 6:30 - 7:15 on the second Monday of every month except June and July. To sign up, please call Gere Branch, 441-8560. Here are some photos from this group:
For second and third graders and their reading partners we offer:
- Reading Partners at the South Branch, 2675 South Street, meets on the first Monday of the month, October through May, at 6:30. Please call South Branch at 441-8570 if you are interested.
For third through fifth graders and their reading partners we offer:
- A group at the Anderson Branch, 3635 Touzalin Avenue, on the first Thursday of every month, starting October 7 at 6:30 p.m. To sign up, please call Anderson Branch, 441-8540.
